About The PJ Library
The Harold Grinspoon Foundation is a leader in creating and supporting innovative opportunities for Jewish engagement in Western Massachusetts and beyond. Through The PJ Library, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation reaches out to Jewish families with young children to help create stronger Jewish homes — homes that foster children’s curiosity about their Jewish heritage and help families explore their Jewish identity.
The PJ Library seeks to engage Jewish families with young children. Each participating child will receive a high quality Jewish children’s book or CD every month, through age six.
Each book comes with resources to help families use the selection in their homes. The foremost children’s book experts have selected the book and music list, which includes a wide array of themes related to Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life.
