The East Bay Federation along with 155 Federations around the country take seriously our ethical responsibility to ensure the welfare of all people. While there is still much to be done, our work on behalf of those in need has literally touched thousands and thousands around the globe.

Israel
Like many Jewish communities across the world, the East Bay Jewish community has developed a strong people to people relationship with a region in Israel. The Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay along with the UJC and Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) work year round to develop support for the new immigrants and young people in our sister region in Israel; Kiryat Malachi and Hof Ashkelon.

Around the World
Through our partnership with the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) we are able to help Jews in need in over 85 countries throughout the world. JDC sponsors programs of relief, rescue and renewal and helps Israel address its most urgent social challenges. Together, we are committed to the idea that all Jews are responsible for one another.
